The latest update introduces a modernized, resizable interface alongside a real-time animated Visualizer that displays envelopes, LFO, and filter activity. Primer’s core synthesis engine features three oscillators with a variety of waveforms including saw, pulse, triangle, and sine, plus a sub oscillator and noise generator. It also includes advanced modulation options such as frequency modulation, oscillator sync, and multiple envelope types, complemented by a range of effects like distortion, chorus, phaser, delay, and reverb.

Primer supports mono, legato, and polyphonic voice modes with portamento and unison capabilities to enhance expressiveness.
