RawPrime is a unique hybrid synthesizer that blends digital and analogue components inspired by telecommunications technology from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Its innovative synthesis method intentionally generates aliasing signals, transforming these artifacts into the primary sound source. This approach results in a distinctive sonic character that evokes the expressive and bold qualities of vintage hardware, while offering a fresh take on classic synthesis techniques.

The sound engine combines modeled numerically controlled oscillators and digital-to-analogue converters with an expressive analogue filter section. A two-pole resonant low-pass diode-ladder filter with a rare design shapes the sound, supported by an additional non-resonant high-pass filter. Sound design flexibility is enhanced by three analogue envelope generators, two digital LFOs, and a comprehensive modulation matrix. These elements allow for rich tonal variations and dynamic expression, making RawPrime suitable for both studio production and live performances.

RawPrime also includes two multi-effect slots offering chorus, flanger, distortion, bitcrusher, delay, and reverb options, providing further creative possibilities. Its polyphonic arpeggiator with multiple modes adds rhythmic complexity and movement. The synthesizer supports polyphony with vintage-style voice management and offers a straightforward, microcomputer-inspired interface.
