Midmid is a multi-channel MIDI router designed for live performers seeking efficient control over multiple VST instruments within their DAW. It enables seamless switching between up to 16 VST instruments using large, easy-to-press buttons, making it particularly suitable for touch screen use. This setup allows musicians to quickly jump between instruments during performances without interrupting their workflow.

The software operates by utilizing the DAW's internal MIDI channel routing system. Users assign a unique MIDI channel number to each VST instrument and set Midmid as the MIDI input source. This configuration ensures that MIDI signals are directed exclusively to the selected instrument, providing clean and precise control over each sound source without overlap or confusion.
