MWAV is a dedicated SysEx librarian and editor designed for the Waldorf Microwave synthesizer, offering comprehensive control over all synthesizer parameters through a system exclusive driven sound editor. It enables users to manage sound programs efficiently, providing a seamless interface to access and modify every aspect of the instrument's sound.

The software features a program bank manager that supports drag and drop functionality, simplifying the organization and transfer of sounds. Users can open existing sound banks such as 'mwsset1.syx' and easily dump their contents to the Microwave. Creating new sound libraries and initializing individual slots is straightforward, while sounds can be moved effortlessly between the Sound Library, the Microwave device, and the computer's Finder for flexible sound management.

MWAV also allows real-time updates of the Microwave's sound table by requesting all sounds or a specific sound from the current selection. The editing window provides direct access to modify sound programs in detail. The latest version is optimized to run natively on the newest ARM-based Mac systems, ensuring smooth and efficient performance on modern hardware.
