vStack by Granny's Audio is a user-friendly sampler and looper designed for seamless timing synchronization across multiple channels. It supports both audio file playback and live recording, each easily synced to a master metronome with a single click. The metronome serves as the timing foundation, ensuring all loop channels stay in sync by following its tempo and phase. It also features an optional click sound to help maintain rhythm during performances or recording sessions.

Each loop channel acts as a core component of vStack, allowing users to load audio files or record live input directly. Channels can be trimmed or looped precisely by selecting specific audio segments, with individual level and panning controls for tailored mixes. When locked to the metronome, channels align their playback speed to the master tempo and start recording only on the first beat, maintaining strict synchronization. Users can add or remove channels as needed and assign them to keyboard or MIDI hotkeys for quick activation.

vStack also offers comprehensive MIDI mapping for hands-on control, enabling users to assign parameters and buttons to external controllers effortlessly. The output includes four effects—overdrive, chorus, delay, and reverb—with independent level controls and toggles. Input signals can be recorded or routed through the effects chain, providing flexibility for both loop creation and live performance. Additionally, the output section features a compressor and a three-band equalizer with adjustable shelving filters, allowing users to shape their sound with precision.
