Stepattern is a pattern-based step sequencer synthesizer designed to craft polyphonic rhythmic and melodic sequences. Its wide range of sound textures includes atmospheric layers, acid bass lines, percussive hits, experimental rhythms, and fluid effects. The interface provides intuitive step toggling with LED indicators to highlight active beats, along with adjustable sequence length options that loop between four, six, or eight steps, making it easy to build complex patterns.

Users can shape their sound with various waveform types such as sine, saw, ramp, triangle, pulse, and noise options, complemented by a waveform shaper that offers flexible signal modification and subtle distortion. The synthesizer features pitch sliders for individual step pitch shifting, multiple filter types including low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-rejection, and adjustable filter strength and resonance to sculpt the timbre. Additional effects include delay with controllable time and feedback, stereo reverb for spatial depth, and spatial auralization for enhanced stereo panning.

Stepattern supports MIDI Continuous Controller automation, allowing seamless integration with external hardware and DAW setups. Its built-in preset manager offers 32 starter presets and the ability to save custom banks, facilitating quick access to preferred settings.
