Additionally, Panorama offers stereo widening capabilities and can simulate surround sound playback through headphones, making it a powerful tool for enhancing the depth and clarity of any mix.
The latest version introduces a redesigned user interface with a dark theme and expanded panning area, including side and rear views for more comprehensive control. The virtual space for positioning sounds has been significantly enlarged, allowing movements within a range of -100 to +100 feet. Support for SOFA-format head-related impulse responses (HRIRs) has been added, improving compatibility with third-party spatial audio data. Enhancements like the Near Head Model provide more accurate spatial cues for sources close to the listener’s head, while new HRIR options enable traditional stereo panning and binaural to loudspeaker conversion.
