midipiano_chung is a free standalone virtual MIDI acoustic piano synthesizer and expander that delivers rich, sample-based piano sounds enhanced by original digital signal processing effects. It features a range of effects including key-dependent tonal adjustments, reverberation, equalization, velocity sensitivity, automatic volume control, compression, delay, and support for external custom audio plugins. The software connects seamlessly to up to three MIDI input ports, an on-screen keyboard, or a computer keyboard, and supports MIDI output for flexible integration with other devices.

The instrument includes 99 stereo mp3 piano samples and offers easy customization by allowing users to add or modify sound files in common formats such as mp3 and wav.
