Majoris is a distinctive synth-based arranger organ designed to boost creativity and streamline the songwriting process. It replicates the automatic accompaniment style found in classic arranger keyboards, integrating built-in drums, bass oscillators, and a sampler to deliver complete styles directly from your instrument channel within your DAW. This eliminates the need for extra MIDI routing or cables, making it straightforward to compose new ideas and melodies quickly.
The keyboard is divided into two zones, with the right side dedicated to solo instruments that can be played using the internal synth or routed to other VST instruments in the DAW. The left side manages chord progressions for the style, supporting both fingered and one-finger chord modes. Each style includes 10 variation slots, such as intros, fills, and endings, which can be controlled via MIDI controllers, pads, or keyboard notes. Users can customize variation transitions and 'jump to' points to suit their performance needs.
Majoris features simple yet effective internal sound generators, including a drum sampler with editable kits and a bass synth with ducking capabilities for enhanced groove balance. The solo synth offers multiple variations per style with easy switching options. Its style sequencer allows programming of major and minor variations, supporting tempo synchronization with the DAW or independent tempo settings. While the plugin offers deep functionality, it encourages users to familiarize themselves with arranger organ concepts to fully leverage its intuitive workflow and creative potential.
