Maia includes oscillator tables for polytimbral wave sequencing, complete with editing tools and a waveshaper filter for sound sculpting. Additional highlights include a modulation matrix, an FX modulation matrix with LFOs, microtuning capabilities, and discrete glissando, which introduces a novel approach to musical performance. Users can also process external audio through Maia and control other devices via dual CV/Gate outputs.
