Lush is a pad synthesizer crafted to generate rich, ambient soundscapes that bring depth and atmosphere to any musical style. The synth features four oscillators, three of which offer multiple waveform options including sine, saw, triangle, pulse with pulse width modulation, as well as white and pink noise. The fourth oscillator functions as a stereo sample player equipped with a set of built-in stereo samples. Each oscillator has individual controls for volume and on/off switching, allowing for detailed sound shaping. The dual resonant filters can split the oscillator outputs and be modulated for dynamic tonal variations, while a flexible modulation matrix enables complex routing of modulation sources to various parameters, including syncable LFOs and envelopes.

Lush also includes a comprehensive effects section with synced stereo delay, chorus, and reverb, all controllable via MIDI automation and easily assignable through MIDI learn. With 84 presets and 48 user slots available, it offers plenty of starting points and customization for sound designers. Despite its extensive capabilities, Lush maintains low CPU usage, ensuring smooth performance in a wide range of production environments.
