The synth includes a zero delay feedback filter offering six distinct modes that shape the tonal character of the sound. Three low-frequency oscillators (LFOs) can operate at audio rates, with two capable of waveshaping to add dynamic modulation effects. Two ADSR envelopes provide detailed control over amplitude and filter response, featuring adjustable slopes, velocity sensitivity, randomization, and key tracking to tailor the expressiveness of each patch.

Additional effects include a polyphonic distortion module functioning as a waveshaper, a modulated delay, and a reverb to enhance spatial depth. A built-in randomizer can be triggered by key or modulated by the third LFO, offering a creative way to introduce unpredictability. With a large library of 384 presets, Lucid offers a broad spectrum of sounds suitable for various musical styles and production needs.
