This vintage modular polyphonic synthesizer offers a rich and immersive sound design experience, featuring up to six voices and flexible stereo routing for mono or dual-channel output. It incorporates a 20 by 12 matrix controlled by a 5 by 5 submatrix, enabling intricate modulation possibilities with three Kxmod sources. The six oscillators provide five waveforms, including those inspired by classic synthesizers, and support phase modulation and oscillator sync for dynamic tonal shaping. The oscillators are fully compatible with Kx-Modulad waveforms, ensuring high-quality sound reproduction.
Equipped with a comprehensive CV/GATE sequencer, this synthesizer offers 16-step sequencing capabilities alongside three keyboard tracking settings for oscillators and filters. Sound sculpting is enhanced by a ring modulator with individual EQ for inputs, a noise generator with pink and white noise options, and a monophonic LFO featuring ADSR envelope control. The instrument includes dual multimode filters with oversampling, polyphonic distortion-enabled VCAs, and four envelope generators with customizable curves and trigger sources. Additional modulation and control features include an XY joystick, sample and hold, and multiple host sync clocks for tight integration with digital audio workstations.
Further expanding its creative potential, the synthesizer includes soft vintage EQ, dual delays with synchronized multi-mode filtering, and modulation oscillators. A visual scope and frequency display assist users in monitoring sound characteristics, while two note pads facilitate performance and programming. Full MIDI learn functionality and internal preset management streamline workflow, supported by 72 presets covering a wide range of classic sounds such as organs, electric pianos, basses, leads, brass, strings, and more. The plug-in's components like oscillators, filters, and sequencer are developed in C++ for optimized performance and sound quality.
