Kx-Modulad is a virtual analog modular synthesizer designed to deliver rich and dynamic sound creation. It integrates a stereo SF2 player alongside an innovative additive synthesis tool called WaveTracer, which enables the crafting of high-quality waveforms. WaveTracer provides detailed control over waveform parameters, producing clear, alias-free 32-bit waveforms across all common sample rates, ensuring consistent audio fidelity from 44.1 kHz up to 192 kHz.

The modular synthesizer section offers extensive features for sound design, including stereo routing and pre-connected modulations for ease of use without the clutter of cables on the interface. It includes multiple envelope generators, both polyphonic and monophonic, with customizable curves and velocity sensitivity. Oscillator options include dual waveforms with phase modulation and sync capabilities, as well as sub-oscillators for added depth. Additional components such as multimode filters, a noise generator with EQ, ring modulation, and sample & hold expand the sonic possibilities.

Further enhancing creative control, Kx-Modulad features two monophonic LFOs with flexible rates and envelope shaping, a mixer with multiple modulated sources, and effects like distortion and dual delays with sync and modulation options. The synthesizer supports comprehensive MIDI integration with full MIDI learn and NRPN implementation, plus multiple MIDI inputs for seamless hardware connectivity. Users benefit from a scope view for monitoring sound and can explore a library of 128 presets to jumpstart their projects.
