The Collective 8 Audio Unit Bundle includes three distinct Audio Units: F8-V2, Mod8, and Res8. Each plugin processes audio by splitting the input into eight identical streams, allowing independent amplitude modulation patterns to be applied to each. These patterns can be freely drawn and edited in an intuitive interface that appears when hovering over the modulation sequences. Additionally, each stream can have unique filters or effects applied before being blended back into a cohesive output.

F8-V2 features LFOs that modulate highpass, bandpass, or lowpass filters, enhancing tonal shaping possibilities. Res8 offers a selection between driven nonlinear multi-stage filters and formant filters that can be individually assigned to each stream for rich spectral effects. Mod8 delivers a broad range of modulation effects such as vibrato and ring modulation, alongside echo, reverb, sub-octave, and pitch shifting capabilities, providing dynamic control over the sound.

By running up to eight different effects simultaneously with their own modulation sequences, the Collective 8 bundle enables complex layering that yields captivating and textured soundscapes. This design supports crafting intricate, evolving effects or lush reverbs and choruses with ease. The bundle also includes hundreds of presets and allows seamless copying and pasting of amplitude modulation patterns within and across the individual Audio Units, making sound design both creative and efficient.
