DF-XCITE enhances your drum mix by adding harmonic excitement that brings new energy and vibrancy to each element. This plugin works by introducing layers of saturation that enrich the tonal character of your drums, making them stand out with greater depth and presence.

The plugin divides the frequency spectrum into four independent bands—bass, low mid, high mid, and treble—each offering three distinct saturation types labeled AMN, VIN, and EXT. These bands can be individually activated or bypassed, allowing precise control over how much harmonic saturation is blended into the mix for each frequency range.

DF-XCITE features tailored mode presets based on frequency crossovers designed specifically for different drum components like kick, snare, toms, cymbals, and entire drum groups or rooms. This makes it easy to select the ideal setting for your source material and adjust saturation intensity quickly. An optional high-quality oversampling mode further refines audio resolution for a cleaner, more detailed output.
