The synthesizer features three true stereo morphing oscillators, each with independent control over parameters such as width, phase, spread, chorus, tuning, volume, envelope, and panning. These oscillators feed into dual filters offering both classic and unique algorithms, a distortion shaper, and a multi-tap filtered delay system that simulates room ambiance with an additional pair of selectable filters. Flexible routing options allow users to configure the signal path to suit a variety of creative needs.

Users can access all standard waveforms including sine, square, triangle, saw, and noise, while also having the ability to import custom waveforms via simple WAV file integration. This feature supports stereo or mono files at any sample rate or bit depth, transforming them into high-resolution wavetables for oscillator or LFO use. This openness to custom content expands the sonic palette, enabling unique textures and tones beyond traditional synthesizer sounds.

Atlantis's modulation system allows every slider parameter to be controlled by multiple modulators such as LFOs, envelopes, MIDI control data, note pitch, and velocity.
