Arcade2 is an innovative sample folder animator designed to spark creativity by playing randomized combinations of wave files loaded directly into RAM. It offers an inspiring approach to sample playback by dynamically altering core parameters such as file selection, pitch, playback start and end points, loop regions, direction, panning, and volume. This approach allows users to explore fresh sonic textures and unexpected variations with ease.

The engine includes two separate playback modules with independent stereo outputs, providing complex and layered soundscapes. It features multiple modulation sources including four custom low-frequency animators that modulate in various modes and self-modulate over time, alongside two step animators and a detail refresher that adds nuanced randomness to the playback. These tools collectively enable intricate and evolving sample manipulation.

Arcade2 also supports MIDI output with eight random sliding control change values, allowing users to animate external effects and instruments using MIDI note messages.
