Audio Impressions' Realtime Instruments offers an extensive collection of ten sample libraries, encompassing orchestral, band, world, keyboards, guitars, drum kits, music effects, harps, baroque and antique instruments, as well as pipe organs. With over 600 sampled instruments mostly consisting of solo players and detailed orchestral string sections, this package delivers a wide range of expressive playing styles and effects. Each instrument features authentic articulations such as mutes, bow positions, pizzicato, and flutter tongue, enabling rich and realistic performances from the start.

Designed with a distributed computing approach, Realtime Instruments operates by connecting a control computer with multiple sampler computers running Native Instruments' Kontakt sampler. Your main sequencing computer hosts the plugin, which communicates with the other devices through a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet connection. This setup allows for efficient handling of large sample libraries and complex arrangements, supporting full symphony orchestra playback at high sample rates when using multiple sampler machines. The system is compatible with VST on Windows and AU on Mac OS X platforms.

All samples were recorded in world-class studios using top-tier musicians and premium instruments, captured with vintage Neumann and Telefunken tube condenser microphones along with ribbon mics and silver-plated cables. This meticulous recording process avoided any equalization or compression, focusing on natural sound quality achieved through precise microphone placement.
