Formed by Modeselektor's Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary alongside Apparat's Sascha Ring, Moderat emerged in 2003 with the Auf Kosten der Gesundheit EP. Their self-titled debut album followed in 2009, leading to a successful career that included the acclaimed II in 2013 and III in 2016. After a hiatus, they returned in 2022 with MORE D4TA, reflecting a creatively rejuvenated spirit.
