Christopher Franke, born in Berlin on April 6, 1953, is a distinguished keyboardist and composer known for his pivotal role in the iconic electronic group Tangerine Dream. Joining the band in 1970, he contributed to seminal albums like Phaedra, while also innovating the use of synthesizers and sequencers. After leaving in 1988, he launched a solo career and founded the Berlin Symphonic Film Orchestra.
