WoodVerberator is a convolution-based reverb plugin designed to deliver realistic and customizable reverberation effects. It allows users to adjust the reverb time from instantaneous up to 10 seconds or use the native length of the impulse response (IR) file. The plugin supports both stereo and mono IR files, with the ability to create stereo effects by de-correlating mono inputs. Users can shape the reverb sound with controls for damping and distribution, catering to a wide range of acoustic environments.
The reverb’s late reflections can be extensively tailored through features such as high-pass and low-pass filters, saturation, amplitude and phase modulation, as well as delay effects. The boundary between early and late reflections is adjustable, offering precise control over the reverb character. Additional dynamic processing options include gating and ducking, which can be triggered via sidechain input for creative sound design and mix clarity. Standard controls like mix and pre-delay complement the detailed shaping possibilities.
WoodVerberator also provides advanced functionality including input and output metering, quality settings for CPU load management, and support for user-loaded IR files that integrate seamlessly into the plugin interface. MacOS users benefit from surround and immersive 3D output capabilities, enhancing spatial audio production. A visual graph displays the selected impulse response, aiding in understanding and fine-tuning the reverb texture. This plugin offers a powerful and flexible solution for adding natural and complex reverb effects to any audio project.
