VUMT deluxe is an analog-style metering, gain staging, and channel management tool designed to enhance audio production workflows. Building on the foundation of its predecessor, it provides a range of customizable meter types including VU, RMS, and various PPM standards such as DIN, Nordic, BBC, and EBU. The plugin offers detailed control over needle ballistics, allowing adjustments for overshoot, hold behavior, and peak/clip indicators, all presented through a choice of eight different skins and a resizable interface.

This tool simplifies gain staging with separate trim controls for left and right channels, alongside a mid-side matrix with independent adjustments for mid and side signals. The monitor section includes features like polarity reversal and individual mute controls per channel. Additional utilities enhance track processing with high-pass and low-pass filters available at multiple slopes, a dynamic EQ band for resonance removal and de-essing, and a mono maker that reduces stereo width below a specified frequency, providing precise control over the audio signal.
