The latest Rompler version of the Versilian Studios Chamber Orchestra brings a fresh and improved user interface, redesigned with the artistic input of Simon Autenrieth. This update enhances the instrument with over 2000 samples, expanding the original collection by adding a second trombone, piano, and round robin variations for short articulations, enriching the overall sound quality and realism.
Featuring 25 orchestral instruments spanning strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion, this single VST instrument offers 88 articulations, making it an excellent tool for orchestral sketching and composition. Despite its extensive features, it is optimized for performance on lower-spec machines, such as laptops, with the largest instrument requiring only 200 megabytes of memory and no need for disk streaming, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
The samples included in this library were recorded by Sam Gossner and are available under the Creative Commons Zero license, allowing for unrestricted use. The combination of high-quality samples, a streamlined interface, and efficient performance makes this chamber orchestra VST an accessible and practical choice for composers seeking detailed orchestral sounds without heavy system demands.
