This filter plugin includes two tempo-synced LFOs dedicated to low and high frequency bands, each offering five distinct LFO shapes for dynamic modulation. Additionally, two envelope followers correspond to the low and high bands with adjustable source frequency, enabling responsive filtering based on the input signal. Filter saturation and distortion effects can be applied either before or after the filter stage, adding warmth or grit as desired.

Philta XL also incorporates a rate reducer and bitcrusher effect that can be linked to the cutoff frequency and modulated by LFOs or envelopes for creative degradation effects.
