VOLT is a polyphonic synthesizer designed to capture the classic sounds of the late 1970s and early 1980s with a strong emphasis on expressive performance. It features up to eight virtual analog voices, each equipped with a continuously variable wave oscillator, a detunable sub-oscillator, noise source, and a filter inspired by classic SEM designs. The synth includes advanced modulation options such as a dedicated LFO per voice, dual ADSR envelopes, and per-voice distortion, delivering rich and dynamic sonic textures. Additionally, three master effect units provide vintage chorus, digital delay with tempo sync, and expansive reverb to enhance the overall sound.

Designed for expressive play, VOLT supports various input methods including MPE MIDI controllers like the ROLI Seaboard and Geoshred, as well as traditional MIDI keyboards with aftertouch, pitch, and modulation wheels. An onboard 2D touch keyboard allows for slide and glide performance techniques, further expanding creative possibilities. With over 100 finely crafted factory presets, users can explore a broad palette of sounds, and presets are easily managed and shared across both standalone and Audio Unit versions.

VOLT offers flexible connectivity options including standalone operation with USB audio interface support, wired, network, and Bluetooth MIDI. It integrates smoothly into modern workflows, supporting MIDI remote control, tempo sync, Audiobus, Ableton Link, and Inter-App Audio.
