The plugin features two distinct transient control modules that work over different time frames. The longer transient control shapes and adjusts the envelope over milliseconds, providing subtle volume adjustments and dynamic contouring. The shorter transient control focuses on brief, punchy transient boosts, letting you add snap and definition to your drums. By combining these controls, you can maintain the natural feel of long transients while enhancing the immediacy of short transient hits. Input and output volume knobs further help tailor the overall sound level to fit your mix.

In addition to dynamic shaping, Transient Shaping System+ includes a unique saturation shaping feature that softens overly sharp transients without resorting to compression or limiting. This results in rounded, analog-style peaks that preserve the original character of your drum hits while reducing harshness. Users can also bypass the effect for easy A/B comparisons and use the dry/wet control to fine-tune the intensity of the processing. A preset manager with 20 carefully crafted settings provides quick starting points for both electronic and acoustic drum sounds.
