Thanks to efficient CPU usage, the synth allows for multiple instances and extensive external processing. Users can also import WAV or AIFF files to create custom waveforms, expanding creative possibilities while benefiting from a selection of 32 classic FM waveforms built into each oscillator.

Toxic Biohazard’s effects section offers a variety of options, including tube-like distortion, stereo delay, reverb, flanger, and phaser, all crafted to enhance sound quality and flexibility. Its analog-modeled multi-mode filter provides warm low-pass, smooth band-pass, and creamy high-pass tones, with modulation controlled by envelopes, LFO, velocity, and keyboard tracking for expressive sound shaping.
