The instrument supports up to 16 voices of polyphony and features note sliding and adjustable pitch bend range, enabling expressive performance capabilities. Users can fine-tune sound characteristics with freely adjustable attack, decay, and release slopes, alongside envelope and key tracking controls that shape the volume dynamically. Morphing between the two defined timbres is controlled via an envelope, providing fluid transitions and complex textures.

Tetra includes convenient options for sound design and workflow, such as copy and paste buttons for quick saving and recalling of all control settings. All parameters can be manipulated through MIDI (NRPN) and text field input, offering precise control over every aspect of the sound.
