Tapatiki is an 8-tap delay effect crafted for straightforward operation, focusing on creating intricate rhythmic patterns with ease. It features a wide range of tempo synchronization options, covering divisions from 2/1 down to 1/64, including dotted and triplet rhythms. For more experimental use, non-synced delay times extend up to two seconds, allowing flexible timing adjustments.
Each delay tap includes controls for level, pan, feedback, and a combined low and high pass filter, which can be positioned either inside or outside the feedback loop to shape the sound creatively. Taps can be switched off individually when not needed, streamlining the effect and focusing on essential elements. A global feedback multiplier adjusts the feedback intensity on all taps simultaneously from zero to double, providing dynamic control over the delay decay and resonance.
Designed with user experience in mind, Tapatiki offers intuitive controls such as drag-enabled sliders and quick value setting with right-click, eliminating the need for drop-down menus and simplifying workflow. Safety features include a Panic button to instantly stop runaway feedback, ensuring stable performance even during intense sound design sessions. Overall, this delay effect balances depth and simplicity, making it suitable for both creative experimentation and precise rhythmic delays.
