Syn'X is a 16-voice virtual analog synthesizer designed to deliver rich and dynamic soundscapes. It features two oscillators per voice, each offering multiple waveform options including Triangle, Saw, Square, and Pulse, with dedicated pulse width modulation and ring modulator modes. The synthesizer allows simultaneous selection of several waveforms per oscillator, expanding its sonic palette. The multimode filter emulates the classic CEM 3320 chip, providing various filter types such as low pass, band pass, and high pass with self-oscillation capabilities.
Equipped with four enhanced ADSR envelopes featuring MIDI-syncable delay, Syn'X offers precise control over sound shaping. It includes four unique LFOs, two of which bring innovative modulation possibilities not commonly found in other synthesizers. The built-in effects section includes Delay, Chorus, Phaser, and Dual EQs, allowing users to add depth and texture to their sounds. Additional features such as multi-track sequencing, multiple playing modes including monophonic and polyphonic options, and specialized LFOs based on chaotic functions and rhythmic patterns further expand creative potential.
Syn'X supports multi-layer and poly-timbral operation with up to eight independent layers, each with its own set of oscillators, filters, envelopes, and modulators. It also offers two separate keyboards, each with independent arpeggiators and MIDI management, enabling complex performance setups. This synthesizer integrates advanced features like guitar modes and circular or random polyphonic modes, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles and production needs. Syn'X brings a powerful combination of classic analog character and modern synthesis flexibility in a single instrument.
