Substitute Modular is a semi-modular virtual analog synthesizer designed for Windows VST3 (64-bit). Inspired by its predecessor, Substitute, this instrument has undergone a comprehensive redesign to deliver an expanded and enriched sound creation experience. It features a dual oscillator section equipped with classic waveforms, combined with analog-style filters that maintain the authentic character of analog synthesis.

This synthesizer offers extensive modulation possibilities, including four envelopes, four LFOs, two step modulators, and two step sequencers, all seamlessly integrated with a large patchbay for flexible signal routing. These tools enable intricate sound shaping and dynamic performance control, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles and experimental sound design.

Additionally, Substitute Modular includes a creative effects section featuring delays, chorus, reverb, waveshaper, leveler, tone control, bit reduction, and saturation amp, adding depth and texture to your sounds. A MIDI chord generator and classic arpeggiator are also included to enhance compositional possibilities and workflow efficiency within your projects.
