It offers the ability to introduce random variations in grain length and rate, adding dynamic texture to your sounds. The grains’ amplitude can be shaped using six different envelope types, providing detailed control over the sonic character and evolution of the processed audio.

The plugin includes a hybrid analog-style filter section featuring smooth low-pass, phat-pass, and high-pass formant filter settings. This allows for further tonal sculpting and adds warmth and depth to the granulated sound. Sonix supports stereo processing with independent control over each channel’s panning and grain triggering, enabling complex spatial effects. Wet and dry signal mixing is available for blending the original audio with the granular texture.
