Slix is a multi-loop slicer designed to bring dynamic rhythmic variation to your music production. It allows you to load up to four separate loops, each capable of being sliced and manipulated independently. The plugin employs randomization techniques to reorder, repeat, reverse, and gate slices within each loop, all synchronized perfectly to your host tempo. This approach creates rhythmic complexity that can range from subtle, nuanced changes to highly glitchy, energetic beat patterns.

Included with Slix are 295 original drum loops spanning a wide variety of electronic music styles such as breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, and glitch, among others. These loops are organized into 57 presets that demonstrate the plugin’s flexibility and creative potential. Users can also import their own WAV files, supporting multiple bit depths and both mono and stereo formats, enabling seamless integration with any production setup. The tempo-aware slicing and adjustable beat lengths provide precise control over loop playback and stretching.

Each loop within Slix features four independently adjustable effects—slice reorder, repeat, reverse, and gating—that can be randomized to produce evolving textures and rhythmic surprises. Volume envelopes allow for smooth loop transitions, while normalization and mono options help tailor the sound output. Slix is available in both stereo and multi-output versions, as well as a simplified single-loop variant for more straightforward use or reduced CPU load.
