Sequential Channel Changer (SCC) is a MIDI utility that lets you dynamically switch the MIDI channel your keyboard transmits on, enhancing control over your setup. The plugin offers two distinct modes for channel switching, allowing seamless integration with various MIDI controllers. This flexibility enables musicians to tailor channel changes according to their performance or production needs.

In CC Switch Mode, you can change MIDI channels by sending continuous controller (CC) values within a specified CC number, suitable for use with rotary knobs or faders. Alternatively, by sending specific CC messages tied to a sequence trigger, you can cycle through a predefined sequence of MIDI channels stored in an external file. The CC&PC Switch Mode expands this functionality by allowing MIDI channel changes via program change messages as well, with options to filter or pass through program changes to your instruments. This mode supports more complex setups where program changes control both channel switching and instrument presets.

All channel sequences and settings are saved in simple text files with the .scc extension, making it easy to create and manage channel configurations for different songs or projects. These files can be edited with any text editor and loaded into the plugin, with the loaded file's name displayed for easy identification. This approach ensures quick access to customized channel sequences, streamlining workflow and enhancing live or studio MIDI performance control.
