The plugin is designed to bring the classic SEM character into modern music production environments.

Unlike the original hardware, this VST removes previous limitations by offering polyphony, allowing multiple notes to be played simultaneously for more complex and layered soundscapes. It also adds a second low-frequency oscillator, a noise source, and pulse-width modulation for the saw waveform, expanding creative possibilities while maintaining the authentic sonic qualities of the Oberheim SEM.

Special care was taken to emulate the analog variability of individual hardware circuits within the audio paths, especially in polyphonic mode.
