s16 is a powerful 16-step sequencer designed for creative sound manipulation using a single WAV sample across its sixteen steps. Each step offers detailed control options including direction, octave, semitone, fine tuning, attack, decay, release, filter amount, pan, and volume. Users can select between four divisions and step counts, allowing flexible rhythmic patterns that adapt to various musical styles.

The interface allows seamless switching between programs and patterns directly on the GUI, through host patch changes, or via MIDI note-on commands, providing an intuitive workflow. Global controls for release and volume enhance overall sound shaping while four dedicated LFOs operate within a 4x10 matrix to create dynamic modulation effects. This setup supports deep customization and evolving sequences.

s16 also includes an array of effects such as multiple filter types, distortion, delay with additional filter and distortion options, and flange to add character and texture to sequences. All 24 parameters are fully automatable, enabling detailed expression and precision in music production.
