Retrology E-Tone offers a pair of plug-ins that faithfully recreate the classic Equalizer and Presence Filter from a renowned British mastering console, enhancing digital audio quality with a vintage-inspired design. These plug-ins combine straightforward, user-friendly interfaces with efficient CPU usage, making them ideal for refining digital sound recordings while preserving system performance.

The Retro E4-Tone is a sleek 4-band equalizer featuring selectable frequencies and five distinct Q-Shapes per band, including low and high shelves alongside broad, medium, and sharp bell curves. It allows up to 12dB of boost or cut per band and includes additional tools such as a phase reverse switch, overload peak limiter, and both vintage VU and modern light meters. This plug-in supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz, delivering precise tonal shaping with a classic character.

Complementing the equalizer, the Retro E3-Filter acts as a presence filter with high pass and low pass filters at 18dB per octave and a presence control offering gain adjustments of ±12dB across eight switchable frequencies. It shares many features with the Retro E4-Tone, including the same medium Q-Shape for presence control, phase reverse capability, peak limiter, and vintage and modern metering options. The Retro E3-Filter also supports 24-bit/192 kHz audio, providing detailed control over frequency presence and filter shaping.
