ReBirth RB-338 marked a significant milestone in music production by combining the essence of classic synthesizers and drum machines with modern software technology. It introduced a fresh approach to electronic music creation by emulating iconic instruments within a digital environment, allowing musicians to explore new sonic possibilities.
Launched in 1997, ReBirth faithfully replicates the sounds and functionalities of the legendary Roland TB-303 Bass Line synthesizer along with the TR-808 and TR-909 Rhythm Composers. This software brought these influential hardware devices into the digital realm, making their distinctive tones and sequences accessible to a broader audience.
Although officially discontinued in 2005, ReBirth remains available through the ReBirth Museum, where the final version can be freely downloaded. This ensures that producers and enthusiasts can continue to experience and utilize this groundbreaking tool that helped shape electronic music history.
