Pressed-MAX is a comprehensive mastering compressor and dynamic equalizer designed to provide precise control over gain reduction and tonal shaping. It offers a wide range of compressor controls including mid/side compression, stereo linking, and the ability to set dynamic gain reduction limits. Users can choose between feedback or feed-forward compression modes, complete with configurable lookahead for enhanced responsiveness. A spectrum-analyzer-style side-chain display allows detailed filtering with up to four adjustable filters, featuring various shapes, slopes, and channel selections such as stereo, mid-only, or side-only.

The built-in six-band dynamic equalizer enhances sound sculpting with both subtle and impactful adjustments. Unlike traditional multiband dynamic equalizers, Pressed-MAX simplifies control by utilizing the main compressor’s settings for threshold, ratio, and timing across all bands. This approach streamlines the workflow while maintaining flexibility. Dynamic equalizer filters are customizable with different shapes, slopes, and channel options, matching the versatility of the side-chain filtering system.

Pressed-MAX incorporates advanced metering features including a visual output meter and waveform history display with selectable K-Metering standards (K-20, K-14, K-12). A secondary meter can be configured to show either gain reduction or input levels, aiding detailed monitoring. To ensure high fidelity processing, the plugin supports selectable oversampling at 2x, 4x, or 8x rates, including linear-phase and zero-phase oversampling modes. Compatible with various plugin formats on Windows and macOS, Pressed-MAX requires a modern processor and supports iLok for AAX format authorization.
