10k+ plugins and counting. It's free.
The Oxford DeClicker provides precise and transparent removal of unwanted pops, clicks, and crackle from audio recordings. It features three dedicated sections designed specifically for these common audio imperfections, allowing users to address each issue independently. With threshold and sensitivity controls in each section, the plugin enables fine-tuned detection and removal of audio events, ensuring clean sound restoration without compromising the original recording quality.
A unique Events Graph visually displays the level and duration of detected pops, clicks, and crackle in separate color-coded groups, making it easier to monitor the repair process in real time. To avoid removing important audio, the Exclude Box allows users to selectively prevent certain detected events from being repaired. Additionally, the Dialogue Mode offers independent control when speech is present, ensuring that dialogue remains natural and intelligible within the program material.
The Oxford DeClicker also includes multiple audition modes that enhance the user experience: listening exclusively to the removed events, the fully processed signal, or using a side-chain for dialogue mode. Excitation displays assist in setting accurate thresholds, supporting precise audio restoration. This combination of visual feedback and flexible controls makes the Oxford DeClicker an effective tool for cleaning up audio in music production, post-production, and broadcast environments.
