Moselle is a software synthesizer that redefines modular synthesis by replacing traditional patch cords and schematic diagrams with an innovative formula-based approach. Instead of connecting modules visually, users write mathematical expressions to control sound generation and processing, similar to working with spreadsheet formulas. This method allows for both simple commands and complex setups, making it easier to create intricate patches that would otherwise require numerous hardware modules.
