Modular Sequencer is a Max for Live step sequencer designed for Ableton Live 10, offering extensive flexibility with its modular patching system. Among the eight sequencers, four are trigger sequencers intended for activating or switching actions, while the other four send out values and triggers through threshold controls. These value sequencers can be freely assigned to control note parameters such as pitch, velocity, octave, and note length across four outputs. Each output features scale correction that ensures sequences adhere to a selected musical scale or learn scales from incoming MIDI, maintaining harmonic coherence.

The Modular Sequencer integrates seamlessly with the Chord-O-Mat device, synchronizing scales and chord progressions for cohesive musical interaction. It supports routing all trigger signals freely between inputs and outputs, allowing polyphonic sequences and extensive modulation options including signal inversion, probability, and logic operations.
