GSi Mini Orchestra is a sample-playback synthesizer designed to deliver the rich sound of a symphonic orchestra with ease. It features nine distinct sections, including bass brasses like tubas and trombones, cellos and contrabass, french horns, various woodwinds, treble brasses, treble strings, choirs, glockenspiel, and percussion elements such as timpani and cymbals. Each section uses high-quality stereo samples with long loops, enabling authentic orchestral textures that can be shaped quickly for different musical contexts.

The instrument allows independent programming of each section, offering control over volume, pan, attack, and release. Sensitivity to velocity, aftertouch, and expression pedal can be tailored for nuanced performance dynamics. The aftertouch lag parameter provides smooth dynamic transitions by adjusting the response to aftertouch messages. Additional features include three mute groups for instant section control, a built-in stereo reverb effect to enhance spatial depth, and 256 voices of polyphony for complex arrangements.

GSi Mini Orchestra comes as both a stand-alone application and an audio plugin, optimized for minimal CPU and RAM usage to maintain system efficiency during production.
