MB M-Lator is a dynamic virtual instrument plugin available for macOS and Windows, supporting Audio Unit, VST, and VST3 formats. Compatible with macOS High Sierra through macOS Sequoia, it runs natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon 64-bit systems. Windows users can utilize the 32 and 64-bit VST versions, ensuring broad accessibility across modern digital audio workstations.

The plugin features an extensive library comprising 98 virtual 8-bit sampled floppy disk sounds and 533 presets, all derived from the original Sampler Keyboard using vintage Digidesign Sound Designer technology. Each instrument includes up to 10 presets, with individual volume, pan controls, and selectable output channels, allowing detailed sound placement either through a multi-output configuration or stereo output.

MB M-Lator offers a rich set of sound-shaping tools including master volume, panning, room reverb, and adjustable low and high pass filters. It incorporates portamento with glide time adjustment and an envelope generator controlling attack, decay, sustain, and release. A flexible LFO oscillator can modulate pitch, expression, or pan, with depth controlled by modulation wheel, aftertouch, or velocity. Keyboard velocity curves adapt responsiveness to your playing style, delivering expressive control and unique tonal character.
