Master Pitch is a MIDI transposition tool designed to adjust the pitch of all MIDI tracks in a project simultaneously. It aims to support musical composition by offering a straightforward way to transpose multiple tracks without altering the audio content. Instead of automating the creative process, this plugin provides a centralized control for pitch changes across your entire session.

The plugin operates as an audio effect loaded on the master track, although it does not process any audio signals. Its primary function is to send transposition signals to the Track Pitch plugins inserted on individual MIDI tracks. Each Track Pitch plugin receives the transposition data from Master Pitch, allowing global control of pitch adjustments. In cases where the transposition signal is not received properly, a resend feature ensures reliable communication between the master and track plugins.

Track Pitch plugins can be added to any MIDI track you want to transpose and can be saved as default for quick setup in new projects. The plugins adapt their color scheme automatically to match the host’s theme, enhancing workflow integration. This system streamlines the management of pitch changes in complex arrangements, making it easier to experiment and finalize compositions with global pitch control.
