Magnus Choir is a virtual instrument designed to produce both natural and synthetic choir sounds. It features male and female vocal sections arranged in the classic SATB format, with sopranos and altos represented by female voices and tenors and basses by male voices. This structure allows for the creation of rich, full mixed choirs that can enhance a variety of musical projects, from film scores to ambient soundscapes.

The instrument includes 54 preset sounds, offering a broad range of vocal textures and atmospheres. These presets range from traditional choir elements like oohs and aahs to more experimental sounds such as celestial angelic voices, dark atmospheres, ghostly effects, and even birdsong. This extensive palette enables users to explore diverse sonic landscapes, whether they need ethereal pads or cinematic vocal effects.

Magnus Choir is equipped with modulation tools that bring added depth and realism to the sound. Users can customize vibrato, tremolo, and pitch bend effects using an LFO section and an ADSR envelope generator. The built-in reverb simulates various acoustic environments, enhancing spatial depth. Additional controls include filters, amplitude adjustment, panning, and MIDI CC automation, allowing seamless integration and expressive control within any digital audio workstation.
