Lock is a MIDI sequencer plugin designed to generate random looping melodies and chords quickly. It processes incoming MIDI notes and creates output sequences that range from completely random to fully locked, allowing users to explore a spectrum of melodic possibilities with ease.

The plugin operates by adjusting the degree of randomness applied to each note it receives. At one extreme, the output is entirely unpredictable, producing fresh and unique sequences every time. At the other, the sequence remains consistent and locked, providing stability for repetitive patterns. Intermediate settings offer a blend of these two modes, enabling creative control over melody variation.

Inspired by the eurorack sequencer 'Turing Machine' by Tom Whitwell, Lock is available in multiple formats including Max For Live, VST, VST3, and AU, compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
