Beyond editing, the librarian offers extensive management capabilities by maintaining an image of the Prologue's content after a bank receive operation, as well as two additional disk banks stored on the computer. This setup supports various program-level operations such as copying, swapping, initializing, and moving programs between banks. The librarian extends similar functionality to individual timbres, enabling naming, description storage, author and date tagging, and comprehensive manipulation including copy and swap functions.
