KLON - The Vocal Designer centers around a harmonic pitch shifter designed for natural and real-time pitch and formant adjustments of vocal sounds. It generates up to 16 simultaneous copies of the input voice, enabling a wide array of vocal processing possibilities such as choir generation, harmonizing, voice doubling, gender modification, pitch correction, and extreme voice transformations.

The 16 pitch shifters are organized into four distinct groups, each with its own dedicated controls that include an intuitive x-y pad for quick manipulation of pitch and panorama. This structure allows users to create rich, layered choral effects from a single vocal line. Each group can be adjusted or bypassed independently, providing flexibility for live editing or automated changes within a host environment. Pitch shifting ranges up to two octaves with adjustable formant settings maintain natural voice quality even at extreme alterations.

KLON also features adaptive pitch correction compatible with predefined scales, external MIDI notes, and chords, allowing instant harmony generation by simply playing chords.
